A Step-by-Step Guide to Planning Your Cosmetic Procedure for Out-of-Town Patients

Step 1: Schedule Your Consultation

Fill out our consultation form or call us at (571) 440-5005 to set up a time for your virtual consultation appointment.

Step 2: Virtual Consultation with Dr. Lickstein

Over a secure, HIPAA protected video platform, Dr. Lickstein will meet with you to discuss your concerns and your aesthetic goals. He will explain your options and determine if your desired procedure is right for you.

Step 3: Connect with Your Patient Care Coordinator

A patient coordinator from our practice will contact you to review your customized treatment plan, discuss pricing and financing, and schedule your procedure.

Step 4: Preoperative Testing

If any preoperative testing, such as blood work, is required before your procedure, you can complete those appointments with a healthcare provider in your hometown.

Step 5: In-person Pre-procedure Meeting

We will have you arrive at least one day prior to your procedure in order to meet your care team in person and review your treatment plan in detail.

Step 6: Surgery Day

We will answer any last-minute questions and make sure that you are ready for surgery.

Step 7: In-person Follow-up

We will schedule an in-person follow-up appointment during your initial recovery, while you are still in town. The amount of time you will need to wait before traveling home will depend on the type of procedures you had; Dr. Lickstein will discuss your follow-up plan before surgery.

Step 8: Virtual Follow-ups

We will schedule additional follow-up appointments several weeks and several months after your procedure to ensure that your recovery is going well and you are happy with your results. These appointments can be scheduled virtually for your convenience.
