CoolSculpting Elite

Women and men alike are often frustrated by stubborn fat deposits that don’t seem to go away, even with the most diligent diet and exercise routines. In the past, liposuction was the plastic surgery treatment of choice to remove unwanted body fat. However, liposuction is an invasive procedure that is not ideal for everybody. At Elle Aesthetic Arts and Plastic Surgery in Ashburn, VA, we are uniquely poised to help patients achieve their goals by offering both surgical and non-surgical body contouring treatments in Loudoun County. Our expert staff understands the benefits and limitations of each treatment and can develop individualized care plans unique to each client and their goals. We are proud to offer our patients a revolution in natural, non-invasive fat removal: CoolSculpting Elite.

What is CoolSculpting Elite?

CoolSculpting Elite is the latest, most advanced version of the only fat reduction treatment cleared by the FDA to target and remove stubborn fat on nine areas of the body:

  • Jawline
  • Chin area
  • Bra fat
  • Upper arms
  • Sides (Flank)
  • Abdomen
  • Underneath the Buttocks (Banana Roll)
  • Thighs
  • Multiple areas can be treated in a single session

CoolSculpting Elite is safe, natural, non-invasive, and effective.1

How Does CoolSculpting Elite Work?

CoolSculpting Elite is based on the science of cryolipolysis, taking advantage of the fact that fat freezes at a higher temperature than muscle, skin, and surrounding tissues. Using special applicators, our CoolSculpting Elite providers are able to freeze away fat from a range of target areas, eliminating up to 25% of fat cells permanently. In just a few 30-minute treatment cycles, it is possible to achieve fat removal results comparable to those achieved with liposuction—all without needles, surgery, or downtime.2

How is CoolSculpting Elite Different from Traditional CoolSculpting?

CoolSculpting Elite is the latest, most advanced version of the CoolSculpting system. It features a new collection of seven applicators, designed to complement the natural curves of the body for enhanced fit and comfort.

CoolSculpting Elite is twice as effective as traditional CoolSculpting in that the new dual applicators make it possible for us to treat twice the surface area and to target more difficult-to-reach areas. These applicators also feature an 18% greater surface area compared to previous applicators, allowing us to treat more fat in less time.3

CoolSculpting Elite is the most versatile fat elimination procedure we offer, and is the only fat reduction treatment cleared by the FDA to remove fat on nine parts of the body.

CoolSculpting Elite: What to Expect

Preparing for CoolSculpting Elite Treatment

On the day of your CoolSculpting Elite treatment, please arrive at our center wearing comfortable clothing. You should expect each treatment cycle to last between 30 and 45 minutes. During that time, all you need to do is relax, so feel free to bring a book or movie!

The CoolSculpting Elite Procedure

CoolSculpting Elite treatment is performed at our center in Ashburn, Virginia. Depending on the area of treatment, you will either recline comfortably or sit down. Your provider will mark the areas of your body to be treated, then apply a gel pad to protect the skin and lubricate the surface to enhance the efficacy of the applicator.

During the CoolSculpting Elite treatment, you will feel a vacuum-like sensation as the applicator draws your fatty tissue in. The area will soon become numb, and any tingling or aching will subside within a few minutes.

Each treatment cycle takes approximately 30 minutes. Once complete, the applicator will be moved to another treatment area. The area that has been treated will feel cold and firm, and will be massaged to help restore sensation and optimize recovery.

Recovery After CoolSculpting Elite

The first thing you’ll notice after CoolSculpting Elite is that the treated area is cold! You may also notice some redness and mild stinging or tingling or a dulled sensation to the area. While these symptoms may last for a few weeks after treatment this is rare; they usually resolve within a few hours or days.

There is minimal to no downtime following CoolSculpting Elite, though over-the-counter medications may help ease any discomfort.

CoolSculpting Elite Results

Most of our patients see their CoolSculpting Elite results two to three months after treatment, though you may begin to see some changes in as little as three weeks.
