Ultherapy Skin Tightening in Loudoun County
If you have concerns with loose sagging skin on the face and neck area, ultherapy is the only FDA-approved non-invasive treatment that is clinically proven to lift and tighten skin on the brow, chin, jowls, neck, and décolletage. Ultherapy can also dramatically improve fine lines and wrinkles on the face, neck and upper chest.1 This revolutionary in-office treatment stimulates the natural production of collagen and elastin in your body to achieve visibly noticeable results without the downtime associated with laser treatments and other more invasive treatments.

How Does Ultherapy Work?
Ultherapy uses ultrasound waves that are microfocused to generate heat beneath the dermis. This thermal effect stimulates your body’s natural ability to generate healthy, new collagen.
Collagen is a protein that is responsible for giving skin its youthfulness and works to keep it toned and firm. During the aging process, collagen naturally depletes, and results in a loss of skin elasticity and strength.
Ultherapy provides dramatic results, which become increasingly visible over several months following treatment as the fresh collagen begins to generate a lifting effect on the brow, eyelids, chin, jowls, and neck—and a smoothing effect on crepey skin on the upper chest. For many patients, results continue to improve over six months, and may last more than one year.

Ultherapy: What to Expect
Preparing for Treatment
Minimal preparation is required for Ultherapy, other than arriving for your appointment with skin that is free of skin care products and makeups
The Ultherapy Treatment Experience
During an Ultherapy session, your provider will use a handheld device to direct ultrasound energy to different depths of skin depending on your treatment plan. While Ultherapy treatment does not hurt, some patients may experience a mild burning sensation. Your Ultherapy treatment can take between 90 minutes to four hours. Each treatment is fully customized, and treatment time depends on the number of areas being treated as well as the depth of energy penetration each area requires. For example, a mid- and lower face treatment typically takes two hours while a full face treatment can take approximately three hours, and a full face and extended neck treatment can take approximately four hours.
Recovery After Ultherapy
Ultherapy is non-surgical and non-invasive, and there is no recovery period needed following treatment. Most people find that they are comfortable resuming their normal activities immediately after theri treatment session.
Following Ultherapy treatment, our patients typically see noticeable skin lifting and tightening results that continue to improve over three to six months and can last more than a year. In addition to improving the skin’s elasticity, Ultherapy patients also see a visible improvement in skin smoothness and firmness on the neck and décolletage.
