Hands down the best medical experience I’ve had in my life. Dr. Lickstein is an incredibly talented and kind surgeon, and I’m beyond impressed at how much nutrition is a key component of healing (I wish other doctors would follow his lead here!!). I got lip fillers with Joanna, who made the experience very pleasant by taking the time to explain and answer all questions I had, since it was my first time getting fillers. At first I was nervous because of my low pain tolerance, but Joanna made the experience very tolerable. I loved her work and recommend her 100%.
I got the Cool-Sculpting treatments done on my waist (2), and my chin(1) by Christie, one of the medical aestheticians. She was knowledgeable and very attentive during all of the treatments and always made sure I was doing fine. Two months after my first treatment I am seeing amazing results and can’t wait to go back for more!!

I’ve gotten two procedures done by him (breast augmentation and brazilian buttlift) and love the results. They have always taken their time to address any questions or concerns I’ve had pre/post-op. And I called a lot during recovery!
They have always been incredibly kind and patient with me and never made me feel bad for constantly needing the reassurance that I was okay during my recovery. I even came in multiple times a week, for weeks, to have fluid drained and they made time for me. They never made me feel like an inconvenience and that’s so important when establishing and maintaining a client relationship.

I went to see Lauren to get Dysport injections because I was suffering from TMJ and I also wanted to treat the lines on my forehead. From the beginning, my experience was amazing! Both Lauren and Dr. Lickstein were great at soothing my nerves and made the experience so enjoyable. There was absolutely no pain from the injections. I had been suffering from TMJ symptoms for months and it was getting unbearable. Within days of getting the injections in my masseters, my symptoms were almost obsolete. There was a huge improvement in my forehead lines as well. I would absolutely recommend going here, and especially for people suffering from TMJ, I would 100% recommend getting this procedure done. I will definitely be going back to Dr. Lickstein’s office to see Lauren for more injections!

The BEST Plastic Surgeon in Loudoun County (Northern VA!)
I had eye surgery (upper and lower) and lipo on my neck one week ago. I am 50 years old. All I can say is WOW – really WOW!! My bruising is almost gone, my neck is perfect and tight, and my eyes are looking amazing even with stitches.
I had neck lipo and Kybella injections at different times over the years to get rid of my sagging neck. I thought for sure I needed a lower face lift. Dr. Lickstein talked me out of that and did the less invasive (and less expensive) neck liposuction. My last surgeon had rushed my surgery and didn’t do any of the work very carefully. Out of all the work my previous surgeon completed, it looks like I’m going to have to have almost all of it redone. Dr. Lickstein takes his time, seriously evaluates his approach, maps out carefully how each surgery will work, and carefully and conscientiously executes his surgical plan.
After working for years in the medical field myself, I have found most surgeons either have meticulous surgical abilities or a great bedside manner. Getting both in a surgeon can be hard. Dr. Lickstein has an amazingly warm bedside manner as well. He knows what to say and when to say it to get you to hear what you need to do during recovery. He never rushes appointments and spends all the time you need to feel comfortable at each stage of recovery.
The staff is also amazing! Some plastic surgeon offices have these beautiful “billboards” with highly competitive natures. It appears to be a pattern in the beauty industry. Although every person working in Dr. Lickstein’s office is beautiful, everyone seems to work together as a cohesive team cooperating seamlessly for each patient as if they are their only priority.
If you are considering having any plastic surgery or face work (injections, etc) done in Northern Virginia, seriously look into Elle Aesthetics (Dr. Lickstein). If you’ve had problems in the past with other providers, give Dr. Lickstein a call. As long as he’s practicing, he will be my plastic surgeon!
I would like to stay, I’ve reviewed some of these other reviews on this page and cannot imagine these are for the same doctor. I’m writing this review in September 2021 and I can tell you first hand, he’s the best. A couple of these reviews are quite old and don’t have background context to explain the situation. Don’t overlook an amazing plastic surgeon for a questionably sourced review.

I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about Dr. Lickstein and the entire amazing staff at Elle! Ari went above and beyond scheduling surgery and making sure the entire process was so smooth. Joanna and Lauren were a blessing to have during after care, easing my mind during the process (and continuing to do so). Dr. Lickstein did amazing work! He made me look amazing. I lost close to 100lbs had tons of loose skin on my stomach and arms that was making me extremely self conscious and causing some health issues. I haven’t been able to wear sleeveless anything, and definitely haven’t tucked a shirt in since I was a teenager. Just over 10 weeks post op from a tummy tuck, lipo, and brachioplasty I have the confidence to do both. I can’t wait for the weather to warm up to wear a sleeveless shirt. For those of you who have not met Dr Lickstein do your research and you will have a great comfort level at your first appointment. My experience was extraordinary from start to finish. The surgery I had was a Brachioplasty (arm lift). Unlike many of the patients who have this surgery I did not experience drastic weight loss but rather the shin on my arms lacked elasticity and I appeared to have the dreaded “Crepe paper “ skin that resulted in a miserable summer where I was always trying to cover my arms. On my first visit Dr. Lickstein welcomed my questions and was quite honest about what I could expect as a result. It’s not for everyone but for me a scar was preferred to the “crepe paper”. Finding the right doctor really pays off and I am 4 months out with beautiful scars that are beginning to fade already. Dr. Lickstein’s placement of the scar was so precise that from the front or back the scar can not be seen when my arms are at my side. I will not hesitate to use Dr. Lickstein in the future!

I had pretty obvious and tight scars on my eyelids after surgery with a different surgeon. The work Dr. Lickstein did to fix it, is nothing short of miraculous! My eyes look great – the scars were removed, my eyelids are perfectly shaped. As for the rest: warm, friendly and professional staff, full explanation of what treatment was going to be done, meticulous follow-up. Every step of the way, I was treated as someone special (even though the job was a relatively small one). Of course, I went back for more work (CoolSculpting), and I am equally happy with the results.

One thing you can call Dr. Lickstein is personable. He is able to personalize your care and treatment with his extensive knowledge and experience. I have seen him for a few injections and the results have been amazing! I value Dr. Lickstein’s opinion on how I look. He wants you to look normal with botox and fillers that you get on your face. I went in for a mini brow lift and what a great job he did. I am very happy with the results. My mom and sister were also very happy with the results. I had gone to other Doctor’s for consultations, but I felt very comfortable with Dr. Lickstein. I went to dr. Lickstein for a breast augmentation consult and immediately felt very comfortable. He is very knowledgeable and personable. After losing over 72 pounds and having moderate ptosis, my breasts were so deflated, no bra fit correctly. Dr. Lickstein performed a breast lift at the same time he performed a body lift. He was able to tighten the tissue and maintain a C cup with no implants. I am very happy with how I look and feel, and can wear the occasional braless evening gown.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Lickstein since 2017 and have never been disappointed. My first experience with him was back in 2017 when I was shopping around for different doctors to et a tummy tuck. Prior to my consultation with Dr. Lickstein I probably went to 5 or 6 consults with other plastic surgeons in the area. While all the other doctors I met with were skilled surgeons, something always held me back from booking my procedure with them. When I had my consultation with Dr. Lickstein though, I knew at the end of my consultation that I wanted to move forward with him. Aside from being an extremely skilled surgeon, his bedside manner is impeccable & makes you feel comfortable right away. I was so pleased with my results that I went back 2 years later for a breast reduction and were thrilled with those results as well. I also see him for my injectables and honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else….my results are always natural looking (never overfilled or frozen looking) and I never look like a different person…just an improved (younger) version of myself.
